Pizzabakkers The Hague

I was so lucky to have won this dinner via my fellow foodie My Happy Kitchen. Pizzabakkers is in the city center of The Hague. It has a cosy vibe and great service. The behind the scenes kitchen tour was so fun.

The food

Pizzabakkers has a large selection of pizza and also has seasonal pizzas on the menu. I think that is a nice touch, so you can make the most out of seasonal ingredients and keep customers trying new variations.

As a starter we had burrata with bread and bruschetta plate. The burrata melted in my mouth, it was incredibly creamy, paired with the fresh bread, it was such a lovely start of the meal. The bruschetta plate was fresh and a flavor explosion, very appetizing.

As the main I opted for the Pizza Da Noi that was a homage to bell peppers, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and mozarella. The brick oven definitely made the cheese extra melty and goey. The dough with thin crust was really well done and the flavors were really complimentary of each other.

For dessert I of course had to try the Tiramisu. Definitely my type of tiramisu, rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, you can taste the lovely coffee and cacao flavor.

Final verdict

8.5/10. A great spot in the city center of The Hague for a date night of friends night out for fresh pizza and prosecco. The food was fresh, balanced and flavourful. The staff was great and friendly. The price-quality of the food is very reasonable. Would def visit again.
